We celebrated our anniversary at Yalda, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is incredibly serene, calm, inviting, and beautifully designed to make you feel instantly relaxed. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne, which set the tone for the evening. The service was top-notch. Every waiter we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and impressively knowledgeable about the menu. They truly elevated the experience with their thoughtful recommendations. Now, the food--phenomenal doesn't even begin to cover it. Yalda is known for its open flame grill, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The salmon kabob was a standout--perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. Honestly, if we could have, we would've ordered everything on the menu just to try it all. We left completely satisfied and already planning our next visit. Yalda is the kind of place you recommend to everyone you know--and we absolutely will. 5 stars. Highly recommend.

The food was amazing!! Thank you Chris! You are my hero! He took care of me on short notice. I had less than 6 hours to feed about 15 fasting people and he was like no problem. On my next visit I will definitely come in and try some of the drinks at the bar

This was my first time at Yalda. The ambience is nice although it's a little loud in the indoor dining space. It was a little off-putting getting sat a a table where the server was talking to the table directly next to the table we were sat at; she was resting against the table and her buttocks was touching/resting in the table for a few minutes. The food was cocktail and the food was really good. I thought the service was attentive. I liked that the managers seemed to greet tables and ensure patrons were enjoying their meal without being intrusive.

Yalda is getting a full 5/5 from me. The whole experienced was AMAZING. I picked this place as the spot to break a really long fast and the food didn't disappoint, not only that but it didn't mess with my stomach! It actually sat really well. The team was SUPER helpful from the moment we arrived until we left, I had a lot of questions and they answered them all and served me exactly what I wanted. Let's not mention the esthetics too! It was beautiful. At first we were one of the first few tables but by the time we left there was a line of people out the door waiting to be seated so I def recommend that you place reservations if you are going after 7 pm. I only got pictures of my food and the rice of one of my brothers, we destroyed the dessert and and drinks and had such a great time we forgot to get pictures of those!

High-end Mediterranean, in this case Persian, food in ATL is highly competitive between places like Layaly, Delbar, Zakia, Rumi, and etc. To me, Yalda is a standout. I'm a sucker for tall ceilings and these ones are grand while standing over an open kitchen with tandoor ovens blazing. Unlike Delbar or Rumi, you can both get a table AND hear the person next to or in front of you which I always appreciate. Unlike Zakia, the food is good. Unlike Layaly, you don't have to stare at a municipal airport when you look out the window. Standard kebabs of all kinds are spectacular and grilled to perfection. The pita is freshly baked, the hummus is splendid and flavorful, and there is a fried eggplant spread that will knock your socks straight out your Nikes. I always order their tea which is a mix of earl grey and mint, but they have a full bar that looks like it's well stocked. Service here is always prompt and friendly. Price point is high but the quantity and quality of food do impart value upon the diner. Parking can be a challenge without finding a parallel by the townhomes, but valet is cheap enough. 5/5 a true Sandy Springs stunner

Came for dinner with reservations! They sat us at a nice round table in the middle. The ambiance of this place was very nice! It was beautifully decorated. The parking situation was a little difficult . The garage parking was so full and I did not want to valet my car when I'm steps away from the restaurant itself. I didn't think this venue needed valet parking. We started off with the hummus. It was so creamy and good! Very flavorful and the perfect pairing for the warm and fluffy bread. We ordered the koobideh, chicken kabob and salmon. We also got the zaatar fries. We were recommend the crispy rice to go alongside our meats. Starting strong with the koobideh, so juicy and tender and flavorful. Definitely my favorite! The salmon was grilled so well too, very flavorful and not dry. I personally felt the chicken was a little too dry and not as flavorful as the other two. I enjoyed the rice as well, good flavor and loved the crispy top that was recommended. We also got several drinks, I would not really recommend the non spirit drinks as they were just as expensive as the ones with alcohol. Since we were celebrating a birthday, we got a free dessert as well. I would say I really enjoyed the place but the service from our server was lacking just a little. She did not really come to check on us and took us getting her attention to get our food ordered. She also did not grab our menus after taking the order. And after dropping off the dessert we were hoping to get our picture taken but she disappeared right after. Luckily they seem to have a great manager (?) who was walking around and checking on the tables. He kept refilling our waters and noticed our menus still on the table and came to get them. Also checked up on us a few times! Overall the ambiance and food will bring me back. Also there is a service charge if you pay using the QR code on the table.

I'm a big fan of Persian food and this didn't disappoint. Well appointed with comfortable seating. Pleasant, but not snobbish. Started with the Midnight Star cocktail. Rye Whiskey, bitters, anise. Not too sweet, tasty, very good. Free app was standard: Olives, Feta, walnuts, radish, tomatoes, but loaded with fresh herbs. Yum! We ordered the Baba Ganoush with Naan to start. I'm not going to lie, but the only reason I ordered it was because of the name. . But it was really good and a perfect start. The Mediterranean Salad was more than enough for two and we ate every last bit of it. Between that and my new friend Baba G., we were getting pretty full. But just had to do the entrees. I had the Lamb Shawarma wrap with seasoned fries. I will never complain about Ketchup, it's really the only reason I eat fries. But their alternative was better. I sometimes like to mix Ketchup and Mayo with fries. This was similar but with Persian spices added in. Loved it! Service was 110% on point, prices were reasonable. If I had one complaint: cover the Naan with cloth so it doesn't dry out on top. Can't wait to go back!!

We had a fantastic family dinner here. The ambiance is very classy, and the menu is great. We especially loved the polo crispy rice, and the various amount of spreads. The garlic toum is extremely garlicky! I enjoyed my chicken kabobs also. The falafel was just okay and my least favorite dish. The drinks were also creative. It's not a cheap place, but it's definitely worth a treat every now and then.

I feel like a lot of Middle Eastern restaurants have been popping up everywhere but this place is a stand out! Located in the Aria complex in Sandy Springs is this beautiful restaurant. The complex looks brand new - there is a Food Terminal and La Parilla here too. We didn't have a reservation and came at 8 pm on Sunday and were seated in the covered outdoor seating. They had gas heaters but we didn't need one turned on next to us as it was plenty warm during that time. Our server was very attentive and quick to refilling our water glasses. They dropped off a bread and herbs/cheese basket. We ordered the baba ganoush and hummus to start. Both came out not even 10 mins after ordering. The baba ganoush was smoky but with a citrusy taste. The hummus was delicious and topped with deep fried chickpeas and chili crisp. Both of these spreads with bread was the perfect beginning to a great meal. It was a big group of us. I ordered the vegetable stew since I didn't want to leave feeling super full because it was late at night. Little did I know, it was served with a heaping amount of rice and a bowl of vegetable stew with tomato sauce. It was super flavorful and had tons of veggies. Everyone else in our party loved their dishes as well. We also ordered a garlic toum, which paired well with everything we ordered. Just be warned this is super super garlicky. We, of course, had tons of leftovers because of their big servings. Overall, I thought price point wise, it was reasonable. Since we were a big party, gratuity was already included though not sure if it's always included. They have another location on Howell Mill that I will make sure to visit!
